Archive Analysis

Element Set analysis "Lite" is now available:

Since I'm no "rocket scientist", this is pretty rudimentary stuff, but ...

If you keep archive files of individual birds then Element Manager can open those files, and produce graphs of trends as shown on the buttons in the above screen shot.

On the "Main Screen" click, [View/Archive Analysis].

This screen opens up Blank. Click one of the buttons and that data will be displayed.

This screen displays data in whatever measurement system is currently active in EM.

Click on X Axis by Date and the x axis will be displayed with dates (mm/dd/yy). When you click the button, its label changes to X Axis by Epoch Day. After you select the x axis format you must then click on one of the graph types to display the data with this date format.

The program always sorts the data by epochday first so the trends are displayed in ascending time from left to right. The X axis of this graph is the epochday (or date). The axis is NOT scaled. So, intervals are not necessarily proportional.

If you try and analyze a file with mixed element sets the programs prompts you to load an archive file. This routine can NOT deal with multiple satellites in the same file. But, you shouldn't have mixed sets in these types of archives.
